Full STEAM Ahead
Full STEAM Ahead follows on from the incredibly successful event that took place at Enginuity in October 2016 which saw some 300 students take part in activities and interactions delivered by 30 businesses.
This new event has been given a completely new format and provides a greater opportunity for students to engage in activities in a more meaningful way.
Schools across Telford and Wrekin are invited to bring 10 students of mixed ability from year 8 and 9 to explore 6 x 30 minute engaging activities from businesses across the borough and beyond.
Students and teachers will be supported and guided by Ambassador's throughout the day to take part in hands on, sector relevant activities in order to find out about careers in STEAM, Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths.
Students will spend 30 minutes with each business / exhibitor either completing practical challenges or taking part in intriguing encounters.
The event allows students to explore a wide range of industries and ultimately career possibilities.
The event is completely FREE for schools to attend and is only open to Telford schools.

12 - 12:30 Lunch - Students will need to bring their own lunch
12:45 - 13:15 Fourth activity rotation
13:20 - 13:50 Fifth activity rotation
13:55 - 14:25 Sixth and final activity rotation
14:30 Prize giving and close
